@bugrimmar

I understand you, I had a hard time doing a exclusive Archer Run on Oblivion, since the bows pretty much sucked, and you didn't had skills worth considering for them.

But in Demon's Souls, it's actually a pretty powerful way to play.

The build I gave you, coupled with being in Soul Form and with a Thief Ring means that you can snipe from far away (since Sticky Compound Bows have the longest range in the game, add White Arrows and you'll get massive range) and most enemies won't even know that you're there ;)

Of course the drawbacks are that pretty much you'll get OHKO if you're not good at dodging, and the items to actually get that build will take you some time to gather, but my character is a heavy melee hitter mixed with Archery, it's pretty fun seeing a heavily armour-clad warrior taking sniping shots at the enemies :P

i tried being an archer. trust me, you can't be pure archer in at least the first playthrough in this game, unless ur in ur 10th playthrough and u know where all the mobs spawn. there are just some levels where theres tight corners and corridors where u need a shield up.

i'd like to think i'm an archer but i still have some close-quarters-combat weapon when i'm faced with tight corridors and stuff like that. (there's no way you can be pure archer on your first playthrough.)

i know you can't be a 100% archer in any game. i just wanted to know if it was actually "plausible" to be an archer first and a warrior second.
