Forums - - Pokemon Diamond and Pearl discussion.

Ok, ok let's cut the chase.  Had this game since launch.  Still am not anywhere near completing my national dex.  I love this game.  It's a completely and utter timesink for me.  Why must this game be so addictive?

Also Platinum is awesome too I guess.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Hate the new Diamond and Pearl, I stopped playing it as soon as I found out how I had to catch a Feebas and then evolve it into Milotic. Fuck that shit.

I think that collecting all the Pokemon has turned into something absurd. It shouldn't be that hard to catch the 150 region specific Pokemon in new Pokemon games. I love the simplicity of R/B/Y far more.

That's an absurd reason to hate Diamond and Pearl.  To each his own I suppose.

Oh so much time spent into Diamond. Was actually the first main line Pokemon game I had played since Gold/Silver. Definitely a great way to put a lot of time and effort into a game but it is just so addicting haha.

5 hours of non-stop fishing with no results helped me come to that conclusion. I don't think it's an absurd reason, personally. There's beauty in simplicity.

I've clocked in about 269 hours of saved play.  What about yourself?

I can't agree with you more about the beauty in simplicity.

If you're willing, I'd trade you one of my Feebas for something.  Anything would be fine.

Haha well I'm nowhere near that number.  But at least a decent 50-75 hours haha.  Can't remember exact number though.

I might consider it just because I hate letting my games sit on a shelf unplayed.

Well, I haven't played any of those, but I have a 200+ hours savegame on Platinum, can we discuss on that too in here? xD
