Why? Bungie took place in Sony 1st party meetings and theyre no longer owned by Microsoft.

Bungie has been giving a job ad in a paper saying they need people for a new game, with a new franchise.

P.S. my 2nd theory is that Bungie takes over the Resistance franchise and develops a halo-like game for PS3

A Halo-like game for the PS3 would be sweet! I love the Halo series on the Xbox and Xbox 360! The multi-player in Halo 3 is one the best around and I just don't feel it with PS3 games like Killzone 2 and Resistance.

but with zipper, insomniac and guerilla games all on exclusive titles it just seems a bit like fps overkill

but who knows?
certainly fps have great demand so anything's possible I guess now that bungie's "free" of microsoft to a degree

Whats this all about?

Spankey MAG is releasing Q1 2010, Resistance mid 2010 (I think) and KZ3 mid 2011, a Bungie FPS could rly well fit in next holiday season or my other theory of them taking over resistance would make sense that way.

they took place in a meeting with Sony 1st party devs, its not 100% 1st party, Insomniac is there (2nd party but still develop exclusive) and so was Infinity Ward, but it would make NO sense to go to such a meeting without even thinking of developing for PS3

not to mention they had input on uncharted 2 , so maybe they got a taster on what the ps3 had to offer and could not resist.

im not a big Fan of Halo, but i'll take a look at a Bungie PS3 game (if there is one coming) for sure. :) ..

i am glad bungie are free now, they did some great games on the n64 (the first two halo's were good, but halo 3 felt just like an add on)
