I will say that Baten Kaitos is an original IP in a sea of games with ever-increasing numbers. It is creative and they dared to make it on a system that doesn't have many RPGs. I own both but never had the time to finish them.

haha! maybe if my brother would stop deleting my file i would finish this game!! had a blast playing through the parts i did. I agree, the music was something else, and battle system was more compelling this time around. no more watching xeilla guard with magic hehe.
