Oh, so you're thinking he doesn't have an xbox 360? I guess if you are someone who looks forward to Bungie games, why would you not own a 360? That seems really non-senseical to me.

If you like the PS3 and would like to see what Bungie has to offer, then why not hope for a PS3 game as well?

It's a good point. I'd be willing to bet Bungie could wrangle some good gaming out of the ol' PS3.

Yeah, technically Bungie could go multi-plat but I don't see it happening unless they decide it would be fun to make a Wii game. I don't see it happening, really. They have zero experience outside the PC & 360 environment (excepting their ancient Mac games) and I don't see them wanting to step on Microsoft's toes like that. From what I've read, the two still seem to have a solid relationship (and they should, after all MS let go their biggest games division asset out of courtesy), similar to what I see with Sony and Naughty Dog/Insomniac.

All true, but the only thing that keeps me at least a bit doubtful is how they have been spending time with Naughty Dog, I believe they were even thanked in the credits for Uncharted 2.

@ Aj_habfan: So was Infinity Ward :) Could be because Bungie has an excellent knowledge of console shooters and Infinity Ward has an excellent knowledge of suspenseful sequences.

It's possible that there's more to that collaboration but I doubt it. There are several cases where respected developers help each other out when one of the devs is particularly strong in one area.

I'm glad, Bungie is talented and I don't know about everyone but I'm tired of the Halo formula.

What does this mean? What does "tired of the halo formula" mean? Tired of really good FPS games? Tired of Sci-Fi shooters? This just always sounds really like regurgitated crap. What is there to be tired of? I really don't understand this line of thinking at all.

Note: Yes indeed, I am a Halo and Bungie fan, and I do not understand what about the game causes such intense anger.

It's popular. It's widely regarded as being an inferior shooter compared to some PC games. Toolboxes seem to really enjoy it.

That's enough to get people hating anything.

With that said, Bungie is a damned fine developer and Halo is a great series. It's just not my personal favorite because I think there are far more in-depth offerings available.
