Why are the people complaining about ODST also the ones that only have a PS3 :/

I would take out shift and PES and put Batman:AA and Dragon Age in like Boutros said.

Definately not a bad year for the 360. It got a lot of great content, it's just that it didn't really get enough games this year that set it apart from the other platforms.

I doesn't really matter though unless you have a lot of time. If you're like me midterms, papers, and now final exams have clogged up your list of games to beat. I've only had to time to beat Demon's Souls and play NHL10 with friends.

Forza 3 is simply the best racing game this gen by a country MILE.

Should be number 1 on this list without a shadow of a doubt.

I, myself, was looking at the metacritic score of those games and ODST happens to be the second lowest metascore out of this list.

I agree that PES should not be on this list.

This list isn`t representative of the worldwide 360 base.

Dragon Age: Origins, Borderlands and Madden (it`ll have legs for the holidays, especially with football playoffs not far off) should be on the list.

PES is a non-factor outside of Europe. Most people are just gonna get FIFA anyway. Only the hardcore footy fans will buy both. Fallout 3 GOTY is not going to sell much. And NFS: Shift isn`t that popular. Though I believe that it was on sale with all the Black Friday stuff so maybe it will sell.

Great list, ODST is awesome so keeping it is a must.

I do agree that adding Batman AA, and Dragon Age would make the listed bigger and more awesome!

Looking from a personal standpoint here's my top holiday games (or games you should have at least bought some time in 2009 for releases of that year)

1) Modern Warfare 2 (As long as your willing to pay for Live. After putting in 25+ hours into the online mode I have quite the addiction)
2) Forza Motorsport 3
3) Left 4 Dead 2
4) Halo ODST
5) Shadow Complex
6) Secret of Monkey Island remake/graphics upgrade
7) Borderlands (Another multiplatform title but damn good)
8) Halo Wars
9) Magna Carta 2
10) GTA Liberty City Stories if you have any interest in GTA.

I would have said SFIV as a must have but with SSFIV due out in 3-4 months I would just wait for the re-tweaking and new characters as well as the extra online modes and hopefully lag free gameplay.

Looks like Divinity II: Ego Draconis is supposed to ship at the end of December (the 29th) so I would keep an eye on that to if it makes it for the end of 2009.

I dont at all like football games so that takes off PES and Fifa.. I never really was into Halo, so I agree on putting Dragon age and Batman AA into that list.. Dirt 2 over Shift to..
