Ps3 said: Never!!!! Taylor Swift is amazing. She will be in the rock and roll hall of fame some day! |
The rock and roll hall of fame doesn't mean anything anymore. It's been completey irrelevant for years.
|
Why just because music has evolved since then?
|
Music hasn't evolved in 30 years.
Also, The Hall of Fame has excluded many rock artists that are very influential, succesful, and skilled, such as Rush, Alice Cooper, and KISS. Also, it's turning into the Pop Hall of Fame, which is a bit misleading.
This is why the only thing that matters to rock artists anymore is VH1's Rock Honors concert, which wasn't put on this year for some reason.

I actually disagree. I believe music was great from the 20's to the 50's.. That was real music.. Then the music from the 60's to the 70's went from boring and horrible.. I think that time was by far the worst decases of music.. 80's music brought it back, 90's got better and today sexism in music is finally dead... The biggest artists in the industry are females.

LMAO, sexism in music isn't dead by a long shot. Hell, females perpetuate sexism in music, whether they know it or not, by becoming sex symbols. Hip hop is taking sexism to a new level, for example. In the 20s and 30s, sexism was much more prevalent than in the 60s and 70s. Tell me, watch a swing band...do you ever see a woman playing a trumpet?
If anything, today's music has brought sexism to new heights, not new lows. Women may be more popular artists, but what are they really known for? Their music, very closely followed by being a sex symbol. Even Taylor Swift perpetuates this sterotype. As does Beyonce, and Britney Spears did back in the 90s/early 2000s before her boobs turned into pancakes, etc.
