its callded cognitiv dissonance and I feel it every time I buy a game, mostly becasue Im low on cash

It is something I have felt since last November or December. The reason: Tom Clancy's Endwar on PS3. RTS games really do not belong on consoles.

I regret buying games for my wii ( Except for Resident Evil 4, that one was good)

No more heroes, the umbrella chronicles, rock band, and metal slug anthology.

I've never regretted buying any systems really. But I now know that if I could have fought the urges to buy a wii and 360 I wouldn't be missing anything really. I never touch either one anymore, and despite being home for quite a few amazing exclusives the 360 is the worst piece of hardware I've ever bought.

Also, I've never really hated any games that I purchased. I found some to be mediocre though. I've managed to beat every game I've purchased with the exception of Fable 2. Thinking about it again, I guess I do regret that purchase. It was a poor choice when I knew Fallout 3 was releasing the week after. I just couldn't predict how inferior Fable 2 would be.

i think nmh is good. umbrella chronicles is ok. rock band isnt worth it to me. i like metal slug.

im guessing you just dont like those types of games.

I regret buying my PS3 when I did back in 2007. Should've waited two more years before buying one. I was mainly playing PS2 games and Warhawk for a year and a half. Pretty much every game I was interested in was a disappointment to me. I enjoyed Ratchet and Uncharted, but they didn't keep me coming back.

Also regret buying a PSP - bought it for God of War and Crisis Core. God of War was okay, but it had no replay value. Good thing I rented it. Crisis Core was terrible: terrible dialogue, easy yet crappy gameplay, etc. After that, there was a huge drought. Nothing else good came out on that year. I enjoyed Final Fantasy Tactics and Jeanne D'Arc, but that's about it. I sold it for a DS. Hate to say it, but Sony disappointed me this gen.

Other regrets: MGS4, Star Ocean IV, Knights in the Nightmare, Super Robot Taisen: Endless Frontier, Demon's Souls.

Never regretted a system purchase. I am a gamer and would like to have them all.
