Are you guys seeing SDF having some kind of weird sympathy towards Nintendo? I spotted a few strange things:
-In their Lair review they wrote this: ''Lair could very well be this generation’s “Mario 64″.''
-Next they have an article called: ''Xbox 360 Rapidly Losing its Year Long Head Start to Wii and PS3''. AND WII. In this feature, they also show a picture of Wii having higher sales than PS3.
-In an article called: ''The Times: Xbox 360 Brings Nothing New to The Next-gen Battleground'' they quote the following: ''So, just who is Microsoft aiming at with its new console? The Wii market? Not enough fun.''
-In another article, they mention the Namco 3, which they explain with the following: ''In machinations somewhat reminiscent of Nintendo’s infamous Capcom 5, Namco have let slip that formerly exclusive Beautiful Katamari, Ace Combat 6 and Eternal Sonata are all set for release on Playstation 3.''
Would this sugest some form of respect towards GameCube's ambitious third-party support, in it's early years?
-In a answer to a(probably fictional) question of a(probably fictional) fan about wich consoles support wi-fi, they say this: ''Luckily for you we have a list of consoles that have WiFi (wireless) built in out of the box:
- PS3
- PSP
- Wii
- DS
Yes that’s right even handhelds like DS and PSP have WiFi built in.''
-In a article about Playstation Eye, DO NOT write about how much more innovative it is than the Wii.
-In the Ratchet & Clank review, they don't even make a single bash towards Mario Galaxy.
-''Xbox 360 Death Watch: Hamsterz (DS) Outselling Xbox 360 in UK'', another article. This one could be a bash against the DS(a DS game selling well? Ha!) to flame the 360, but it remains awkward...
Maybe this is SDF's new spin fazz was asking for? :P
Multiple things could be meant with their ''Nintendo-loving'':
-When Nintendo completely kicks Sony's ass, even more than to date, they want to be able to childishly yell: ''We(Sony and Nintendo) won!''
-They want to bash MS as much as possible, at any cost; even if it is supporting Nintendo.
-They want to reckon Nintendo for what they've done in the past, to make it look like: ''Sony is the present, Nintendo is the past''
-SDF is made by a bunch of jolly Nintendo-fans. They've always been carefull, but with this they showed their true nature by accident.
I think it's most realistic to think it's either 2 or 4. 3 does also sound possible, but it doesn't matter; SDF is just... funny, no matter what they say.
EDIT: They stole the review from gamespot partially, just take a look; all +'s are the same, and all of Gamespot's -'s are litterally opposite.
