Both tied xbox has a better connection and fancier dashboard

ps3 on the other hand is free and can do pretty much the same thing xbox 360 do!

I like psn better since I can buy downloadable games directly with my credit card. The point system is just annoying. And it's region locked as well so I would have to buy the more expensive Canadian points. Luckily the best live titles come to psn anyway, just missing out on the best wiiware stuff.

I don't really play multiplayer games often so I'm not the best person to ask, but I'll go ahead and say No.

PSN is free-- point PSN
Live is faster-- point Live
When I hear about a new big multiplatform multiplayer game, everyone I know plays it on the 360. Theym ust do that for a reason-- point Live
I've never been able to download anything quickly over PSN-- point Live
I don't play multiplayer often, but I use the chat options and it's great and easy-- point Live
I hate the PSN store interface, it's confusing and silly-- point Live
Achievements are much more visible and easier to look at/comare than trophies-- point Live
Friends list is annoying to navigate on the 360, PS3 is a simple list-- point PSN

The fact that just about everyone I know owns a PS3 and 360 but will generally say their PS3 is used for Uncharted, God of War, Little Big Planet, and BluRays while the 360 gets everything else (including multiplayer games) is enough to tell me that Live is better. You may have to pay for Live but you get what you pay for.

I actually prefer the psn store over live. Easy to see what's new all on one page. I have to go into all kinds of different sub menus to look for new stuff on live. Having some screenshots, an instant video and a demo for all arcade games is a big plus for live.

Download speed is about the same for me (in Canada) but psn needs to install afterwards which can take longer then the download ugh.
