Guitar Hero 3 (Wii) - 8.6

The game flood intensifies...damn so many good games coming out at once. If they were spread out, I'd consider getting each of these. But Manhunt2 will probably be banned in Australia, GH3 is just *too* expensive - and I'll consider getting The Simpsons next year, when clearance sales hit.

Wow, they kind of liked Manhunt....

How many times will Guitar Hero and The Simpsons be in the top 20 for this week?

I think perhaps... 4 times for GH3 and 4 or even 5 times for Simpsons.

dont wanna read the whole thing, so... why exactly is the ps3/360 GH better then Wii?

Check out my pyro tf2 vid :)

Bet With routsounmanman: By the end of Q1 2008 Capcom WONT have announced a RE5 Wii Edition OR a new RE (classic gameplay) for the Wii (WON)

i haven't read it, but i'm going to take a guess that it was due to the lack of downloadable content (for now)

Congrats. They let the lower price, rumble and wireless guitar fly-by though.

How is rumble incorporated into the Wii version?

I wouild also imagine the 360/PS3 version looks and sounds better. But the online store takes the 360/PS3 version so much higher then the wii version.

Yeah, it seems to me that they inexplicably rated the PS3/360 versions higher on the basis of better graphics and the overpriced DLC, while ignoring the obvious advantages of the Wii version.

But, I guess that's what you get when you have a rating for "graphics" and not for "value" or "control." In fact, that's why "sum of its parts" ratings reviews generally can't be trusted.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

Its only a 0.3 difference - which really isn't a lot at all. They do say that the Wii Guitar is the best - although its not *that* much better than the other versions.

And the game has 70(!) tracks, so additional content isn't that critical.

The 360/PS3 seem to have been reviewed the same - I would have thought the PS3 deserved a 0.1 dock (at least) for those ugly Bluetooth hanging dongles.

Ultimately, all the versions are pretty good. Didn't check the PS2 version.

...

They also comment that the gfx are not as good as GH II - and that its completely irrelevant :)
