Forums - PC - Buying a new PC.Should go for VAIO or DELL XPS?

Go DELL, no one here that pointed for a mounted PC knows that DELL PC´s don´t have fan noise... it´s the truth..

I prefer mouting on by myself and getting at least 30% off... but... they stay with fan noise... to balance that before buying.

You can buy a quieter fan for like 15 bucks.

Here you go: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.293283

That, plus a DVD drive and a video card, and you're set... and I'd also grab a Caviar Black HDD in addition to what's in there so that you have a faster one for the OS/applications, and then use that Caviar Green for storage.

The Case and PSU are far too expensive. And 4GB of DDR3-1600 would be cheaper than that RAM and provide more opportunity for upgrades.

Mm, as I said, you could get cheaper stuff individually, but that's not bad either.

Two grand?

Well, you've got a great machine there for 700$, I guess if your budget's that high, then you can go a bit more crazy.

It's called 'marketing'. Avoid it and you will save money.

get an alien ware or if its only these 2 then go with VAIO :D

Vaio is overpriced

Dells are crap

My advice build your own. I will help you through it if you want. it is really easy.
But if you only want one or the other then i would get the vaio. I hate dell. But if you got money to wait and you dont want to build a pc then get Alienware

But that is also overpriced

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st
