Someone should make a "good music thread" where there would be no Taylor Swift or rap.

well, if someone does, they have my support

for reference, this is my Last FM page - http://www.last.fm/user/SciFiBoy2009

I like your music, Oasis is on my top bands, I recommend Jet, just try to avoid "are you gonna be my girl"

ty

Oasis are my favourite band, I love there music, The Stone Roses are my no.2 band and The Beatles are my no.3, the rest of my top 10 is in a constant state of flux in terms of how much I like them.

Queen, Keane and Muse, then come the beatles, U2, Radiohead, The Offspring and a lot more with no particular order.

The sitar does indeed shine on Norwegian Wood and Within You Without You. Also I really like Lennon's solo work, but I do like avant-garde music as well. Personally I have always thought Imagine is probably the best song he ever wrote, with or without the Beatles.

In a un-Beatles releated note, good to see a fellow King Crimson lover. (talk about some avant-garde though, their mid-late 70s work is very much avant-garde.)

Well, I'm more of a fan of their early work, In The Court of the Crimson King may very well be the greatest debut album ever, I'm amazed at how that masterpiece was their first album. They're an excellent band, no doubt about it

Queen and U2 are great, both are in my top 10, I have a fairly unusual taste in music, in some much that I dont like much, but what I do like, I adore, hence, I have almost 10,000 plays from only 28 artists, only 20 of thoose artists have over 50 plays

Agreed, I actually think most all of their albums up into the late 70s are great though (not the level of In the Court of the Crimson King, burt certainly very good on their own). Epitaph is epic.

Well, I like like a lot of stuff, but sometimes I love a bands song and hate the rest, or the opposite. I really dont hate much bands, I dislike some, like Red hot chilli peppers, but I respect them. The only things I kinda hate is rap, some very pop music(britney spears, miley cyrus) and some things like the jonas brothers and a crap named reggaeton that is pretty popular in latinamerica.

well, I find that most music I hear, I just find annoying or think its awful, like I said though, when I do like a song, I love it, my top 3 bands are special because I like almost all of there songs, no other bands do I have this with, but the top 3 I do.

my absolute favourite albums would be in order:

1. Oasis - Definitley Maybe
2. The Stone Roses - The Stone Roses
3. Oasis - (Whats The Story) Morning Glory
4. The Stone Roses - Second Coming
5. The Beatles - Revolver
6. Oasis - The Masterplan (b-side compilation, thats how good there b-sides are, contains my fave song ever "Acquiesce")
7. The Beatles - Sgt Peppers
8. Oasis - Dig Out Your Soul
9. Oasis - Dont Believe The Truth
10. Oasis - Be Here Now
