To put this in perspective, you are now proclaiming this Swift girl to be the best ever, but I just came out of a thread where you were proclaiming that red-headed chick with braces to be the best ever. That is in the course of less then a week if I monitored correctly. What will you like in 5 years then? You've probably forgotten about anything you like now...

Reminds me of the time my 12 y/o nephew got a Five CD. You'd probably love them PS3 but I said back then: Erik... really, you are going to regret this. 6 years later I remind him and he bows his head in shame.

In short, no, you cannot say that this Swift is the new Beatles. Give it a few years, see if she becomes a cultural Icon and then re-state it. As of now she has hardly hit the level of... well, I dont know I keep forgetting all these generic singers.

Taylor's songs that are popular so far arent even country. They're pop.

I like one thing about Taylor: she's hot.

That'll make me watch her videos when I'm channel surfing, but her music isn't anything special, and is at times cringe-worthy. I don't need to hear any more about teenage romance, I get enough of that on Facebook.
