I really don't believe Final-Fan is mafia... and sabby constantly pulling for a vote on him makes me think he might not be as innocent as I thought.

Also, quick note, it's the second time supermario128 pulls the "I'm going to sleep" routine... he did it with the WoW vote on the second day.

If you want I can just start logging off without saying anything. I usually say when I'm going to sleep or work. I think everyone does......

The reasoning behind that vote is that it's the least likely to hurt the town. If he's mafia then GREAT, if he's not... oh well it's not like he was bringing much to the discussion.

Well then that still gives the mafia one free kill tonight and we might lose two townies. We can't get this one wrong.....

I highly discourage that because if we get 2 innocent townies lynched and the mafia nail another night kill, it's game over for us townies.

18 players and it seems we only have one mafia faction, so it's likely mafia started off with 4 or 5 players.

Let me do the math for you. 18 players, 5 dead and only one of them was mafia.

Worse case scenario mafia are indeed 5: We have 13 players left, 4 of whom are mafia, we lynch 2 town and mafia get a third.

We then have a standing of 6 town and 4 mafia! One more mistake after that and the mafia are 50% of the players and we lose.

We have to at least get one more mafia to make the odds better for us.

Doctor, if you can anticipate a likely target by the mafia. Please protect him/her. You are still useful.

I'm not sure a double lynch is a good idea. Like you said, it would be very bad for the town if both were innocent.
