just get yourself a ps3 :)
| nordlead said: Nintendo typically sells their systems for little profit, but not a loss. I believe one console sold for a minor loss due to currency variances, but they weren't adopting the razor/blade model. The PS2 launched first, and also sold for a loss, but not as big of one. The XBox, X360, and PS3 took it too far, hence the massive losses in their divisions. Also, Sony recently stated they would be profitable on the PS3 in fall 2010 (they made the same comment about reaching the point in fall 2009, but they then cut the price). I'm sure they don't lose as much as they used to, but they still haven't claimed profitability on their main line of console which I'm sure they will for investor confidence. |
Fall 2010? Wasn't it March 2010?
sony makes there money on games
VITA 32 GIG CARD.250 GIG SLIM & 160 GIG PHAT PS3
I've gotta think yes that's a lot of software/accessories.
I think a more reasonable question is 1 extra controller, a headset and 1-2 games. I don't know anybody who buys 3 controllers and 10 games right away.
Europeans pay more because the tax structure is different. Your console includes the tax in the price...we pay tax extra.
@OP:
depends on whether you buy the hardware second hand or not
new games? possibly
although as pointed out the store has probably already paid for them
