You want to hold/press X at the right times or else he'll decide that he'd rather introduce his face to the ground.

I'm liking the game so far (I just got the memory data 10 trophy before I took it back to the rental store) and it's certainly a step up from the first game. I'm glad that the missions are more varied while the more mundane tasks are side missions and mainly for money and trophies. I'm certainly having more fun with this one compared to the first one and how boring it would get.

yeah the game is leaps and bounds above the first game. Im 30 hours in and only 50% complete cos Im doing absolutly everything before I move on. The roof jumping is better to, it feels as though alot more attention has gone into making rooves easily accessable and usable. Also Ezio jumps further ;)

Well to know the shadows are like that in the ps3 gives me some comfort because I was considering what console to get it on and would be anoyed if I found out I chose the one with a graphical glitch like that!

@Arcane, I had this guy humping ezio betwene a box and a wall because of a glitch. It was humiliating for him to say the least. People were saying stuff like "isnt there a decency law against such things?" it was drawing a crowd. He doesnt talk about it

My worst death jump was on the cross at the top of that church looking building in florence. Its like the highest point in that city, and I was on the very tip of the cross and I pressed the wrong button and off he went, all the way to the ground!

Also from the review I read it seems that it is running smoother (screen tearing) on 360 due to port on PS3. I purchase it on PS3 because I appreciate the controller (particularly the d-pad for menu) so much more than the 360 one. But if you prefer the 360 controller, from what I have read and experience with the PS3 version I would definitly get it for Xbox.

Playing it on the PS3 version hasn't been that bad. I was quite worried after watching the review video because I noticed a lot of tearing, but it hasn't been something that's bothered me that much now that I've actually played it.

Hardly a game breaker.

Yeah its hardly a game breaker, I am enjoying the game and decided to choose PS3 version because of controller. But if Xbox would have the same controller as PS3 I would have got it on Xbox, since its the same price with lower screen tearing. That was my point.

yeah it was the 360 controler that decided for me, but I dont mind giving up my prefered controler for better graphics :)

Yeah I have to say the shadow transitions from low res to high are horrible! The texture changed from low to high also happen to late and some times you can walk within 50m from a building and it still shows the low res textures. In some instances you can actually walk up to something and watch the texture turn into 3D. And some times the low res textures dont match the high res textures! and it just looks off

I love exploring huge games like this. I look at all the art work thats gone into it and I have never seen as many visual flaws in a game before! On certian trees and shrubs when you approach you can see the low res texture shrink into the plant and disapear while high res bits grow out! We shouldnt be seeing this stuff! lol it happens way to close to the camera!

But in all I love the game! the game play is solid! apart from the occasional stray jumps and the world is so detailed with very few and short load screens, so I forgive their graphical glitches :) And they have the combat system down to! The game just feels free! no more drawn out boring conversations before each mission, buying stuff its all great!

@IllegalPaladin: Yeah I learnt from other games that if you set up your economy early you have enough cash to spend when ever you need it. Im just going back to my villa now to collect aditional cash cos it keeps filling up. The one problem with this is there isnt enough stuff in the game to spend it on!!!!!! They should have made it possible to purchase houses to rent and other businesses, and then not given us so much income off everything! But its their first try at it in the game, so Im not complaining about being rich :D lol it was just a little easy

If at first you don't succeed, you fail

But then it'd be called Assassin's Creed 2: Oblivion

They should, for the next game, also include an ability to talk to any one to see if they have information on finding a target. Its a little spoon fed at the moment. I'm reminded of the old Ultima games, where you would talk to any one you see in the hope they might give you a clue to unraveling the story. I do like the adition of the pick pocket guy that you get to chase down when ever he appears on the map :) now if only ezio could sleep with the prostitues or get married and start a family :)
