convenience would be the # 1 reason. Not everyone has a nice laptop or a desktop that is handy. When I owned my ps3 I had it in my bedroom and it was very convenient for me to check my fantasy football and such.

I promise you it'd be a lot faster to get up and walk 20 feet to use a pc instead of sitting through the horrid browser on the PS3.

The Halo francise is the most overrated bland game to ever hit the console market. It provides a bad name to all FPS that even showed effort at creating an original entertaining plot.

I probably have more ps3 games than you :/

When the wife is on the computer, it doesn't matter how far away the damnd thing is. I would rather put up with a shitty browser than to listen to her bitch. I promise its a better trade off. But some people wouldn't understand such suttleties. SIGH.....

lol poor guy. I live with my GF but we have 2 computers, PS3, and a laptop, so we are set on that issue I guess lol.

We went out and bought a 42" Plasma for our bedroom so we wouldn't fight over a TV either.

firefox eats too much memory. They should optimise their browser and look at the feature set of firefox.

Though I'd welcome the browser if it was a memory efficient version.
