Send in your DVD's, get the BluRay for cheap(er).

Not a huge selection, but I guess I'm not sure how many Warner Bro's BluRay's there are. If I do this, it will cost me about $47 to convert all mine on that list, though some of those (like The Shining) I don't really know if I need in HD.
I think I will just keep my standard Dvds. I don't see a need to upgrade at this time
Be wary of Warner's distribution methods, however. People used to order movies "for cheaper" from the Warner.com store all the time back when the format war was still going strong, and the movies would take literally months to arrive. I remember reading a lot of regretful posts on the HiDefDigest forums.
But then, they do arrive eventually, and this upgrade program is easily the cheapest way to go Blu.
Oooh cool.
The movie companies serious push to Blu-ray finally starting. Guess they wanted to wait until consumer confidence was higher.

Well, they do admit it will take 4-5 weeks to get your discs, so unless it is longer than that I can't complain (if they have anything I can upgrade anyways)
EDIT: no titles I want to upgrade

Hmm, I'm not too worried about the wait since I'm not in a huge hurry to watch any of those movies on the site. Right now I'm rewatching Lost and I'll get the new season on my Birthday or for Christmas so I have plenty to watch in the next 4-5 weeks.

That 4-5 weeks often extended to 2-4 months. But that was then. Things may have changed.
