And this is exactly why I'm never buying MW2.
But to those 8 million who bought it first week? Thanks for making the future of gaming look bleaker.
Currently playing: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, NBA2k11, Metal Gear Solid, Picross 3d

24million devoted gamers kept afloat Nintendo when Sony was market leader, why shouldn't tens million honest PC gamers keep PC gaming afloat and support developers that release what PC gamers want. There is piracy, yes, but those tens million honest gamers that buy theyr games pay with money as good as console gamers, I seriously doubt every SW house will snub that money.
If Activision feels it doesn't need PC gamers anymore, be it ,nobody prevents PC gamers from getting one or more consoles too for those console games they like, even if they generally prefer classic PC stuff.

PC gaming is growing well and is healthier than ever (it is actually outgrowing consoles right now). The issue is that the success of MW2 may start a trend of PC FPS developers replacing dedicated servers by the P2P mathcmaking system that MW2 uses with the incorrect notion that it is what PC gamers want.
^^
And my point was that a lot of PC gamers will buy from SW houses that give us what we want. We can pay a fee for the expensive services and resources needed to keep a big persistent gaming world running, but we won't give up dedicated servers and other features that allow us to run by ourselves smaller worlds, single matchs or even tournaments, use mods and fan made levels and all those things that add value to a game and don't require nor justify additional fees for more expensive services.
Obviously there will be SW houses following Activision's steps and trying to play smart, but as long as other SW houses offer what we want, weasels will end not getting what they hoped (i.e. our money, no questions).
Please tell me it is sue-able
And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

What no LAN should be the start of accussing already. Think of how much money they'll make because of lack of LAN, plus games are gonna be shittier without LAN. No more Listchecker, the battlenet default ping is set at 150. That means only the host gets real time everyone else gets a small delay of 150ms. If you host on LC you get LAN level pings and smoother games. I preached Blizzard boycott 2 years ago and nobody listened to me, now look they step on us.
I had something to say but Onyx already said it.
just for info, I have a hard time keeping the same group of people for more than 4-5 games, I either get disconnected at the end of a round or steam logs off or whatever other reason.
and so far I haven't gotten a single sub 100ms game... and it always starts the search at 50ms so I take 20 secs to get there... which is enoying since they put the killcam and I see the guy in front of me spraying me with 20 rounds when I barely actually saw him round the corner in game.
the game is fun though, but I have the whole novelty aspect as I didn't play MW1.
ah the other enoying thing is the 1 min between play sessisons... for a game where you directly respawn, it's a huge break in the action...
