Forums - Gaming - Hidden paid DLC game modes found inside MW2

Good news is you can hack the CD and get your DLC for free today. Just google it, it's all over the place. It's n the official IW forums too.

i'm never paying for PC DLC that's for sure ^^

The problem is those who buy DLC on consoles, not on PC.

Does this hack tell you the price the DLC will be?

This is disgusting, really. DLC is a good thing, but it should be used to add additional content after the game has been released, not to unlock features already on the disc.

^^^@ Onyx, I was thinking of that, too. It may have been free.

I predict that in the future, ALL online modes are going to be regulated by some sort of registration system. Offline will be fine but online multi-player will be exclusive to retail. Remember this post.

Actually I was thinking that this may be just like a bundle of other games on the PC with hidden files that weren't meant to get out. Maybe there's balancing issues in these game modes, or they didn't test well with closed audiences, but it's not like this would be the first time hidden files got discovered that weren't meant to get out and are nothing more than discarded content.

Unless of course everyone's still wondering when Rockstar is going to begin charging for that hidden Hot Coffee DLC in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Now I'm not saying this isn't going to be paid DLC, but Activision has already stated they were making map packs for the game and haven't alluded to any other paid content as of yet. There seems to be an awful lot of people jumping the gun here, considering there must be numerous games out there on the PC with hidden code just like this.

@forest-spirit:
Totally agree. I normally prefer to wait, so I can avoid the worst bugs and also often get collections including expansions released after the original game, now I have even more reasons to wait.

Stwike him, Centuwion. Stwike him vewy wuffly! (Pontius Pilate, "Life of Brian")
A fart without stink is like a sky without stars.
TGS, Third Grade Shooter: brand new genre invented by Kevin Butler exclusively for Natal WiiToo Kinect. PEW! PEW-PEW-PEW!

dlc should fuck off. Bring back expansion packs ! Then you'll also have the same maps as most others because they only release like 1 expansion pack and even though it has a lot of content, everyone who gets it gets the same.

Check out my game about moles ^

Activision wants you to pay $10 for 3 maps that a single modder can do in just a day. This tells me that Activision and Infinity Ward are not to be trusted.

Yeah. I had an action replay on the PS1. I was finding deleted text, videos, and footage from other companies on PS1 games all the time. We'll see how this goes.
