Forums - Sony - Sony's online offerings

SSJ12 just made a very good post about online games and their lack of advertising.

Personally, I find Sony's online games (such as Everyday Shooter, Flow and the upcoming Echochrome and Flower) to be easily the best of the bunch of the current generation. I want to brainstorm about these games more specifically: what can or should Sony do to get the word out on these games more effectively? Would a traditional marketing campaign -- as if the game were a standard, 60 dollar game one could buy in the store -- be the most effective route? What other avenues do people see that could help highlight these great games that (I believe) are often being overlooked?

Around the Network

Those are small games with small budgets, i dont see them ever getting much of a marketing push.

I don't see why they can't sell them to traditional retail at reduced prices. There are a few Wii titles I can think of that sell for $20 retail such as Ninjabreadman and Mercury Meltdown Revolution.

Ninjabreadman is 20buks!!! Im getting it!!!
