2009 Video Game Awards Nominees announced

The full list of nominees for the 2009 Video Game Awards have been unveiled over on the official site.

Be sure to head on over and vote across all categories for your favourite games of the past year, and most importantly for your overall Game of the Year – which is a choice between Assassin’s Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2 or Uncharted 2.

Also in news set to excite fans of the acclaimed Halo series, Geoff Keighley, writing on Twitter, states “The world premiere of HALO: REACH happens only at the 2009 Video Game Awards, Live 12/12 on Spike.” As the first chance gamers across the globe will get to see the next installment within the series live, I’m quite sure no one will want to miss it…!

Yep, that is the only reason for me to Tivo the thing. Probably won't even have to worry about that a it will most likely be on Waypoint shortly afterwards.

At least to me, im not interested in another Halo this gen, Halo 3 did it all, anything else just seems like alot less.

ODST: 1 year development time, no new multiplayer, Halo 3 engine

Reach: 3 year development time, new multiplayer, brand new engine

2.ODST had more than 1 year, it was in dev right after Halo 3 launch.

3.How can the MP get new? Chances are there gonna Fuck it up and no one will like it as much as Halo 3's. Same graphics, or there gonna copy CoD, which might be fun.

4.Halo is becoming over saturated, release the damn thing on the 720, you cant do much more with the 360.
