I bought AC2 for PS3 today, and noticed on the back of the box that it says the game will display in full 1080p. So I have two questions for you guys:
A. Is that actually true, or is Sony stretching the truth on the res?
B. Does the Xbox 360 version say 1080p on the back too?

That's upscaled, not rendered at. All games can be upscaled to 1080p, it's just that most PS3 games don't have it on the box (whereas all 360 ones do).
Don't read too much into it.
its the developers not sony. call ubisoft and ask them.

A. It wouldn't be rendered at 1080p, just upscaled (most likely). Oh, and Sony didn't design the box.
B. Most Xbox 360 games say 1080p on the back.
