hey all, i need a new headset as my 5 years old battlefield 2 preorder bonus headset is seen its last days. lol im looking for something less than $50 that gives good sounds and is comfortable. i need the headset to be USB as well. any help is greatly appreciated.

I have an HP-1 Barracuda from Razer. It's working great form me but it seems like it's a hit and miss for people, some love it some hate it and for some it just breaks...

I have the Turtle Beach Xbox 360 X4 headset that I also use for the PC and PS3 though that was about $100. I highly recommenced them if you feel like spending the extra $50. They are 5.1 surround sound, wireless, and very comfortable (I can wear them all day with glasses on and they're still comfortable).

I believe there's a cheaper pair (the X1 I assume) that should be around $50 that isn't surround sound but they are the same build so they are comfortable and they are still wireless.

And the thing that makes them special for the 360 is the mic and nothing else, I've used them on the 360, PS3, and PC and they all work fine except for the mic which as far as I know only works on the 360.
