That's a good deal. 2 good games and a good movie + the best system on the market for $299.
PS3 is gonna rock the 360 this holidays and on. Not even Natal can stop PS3's momentum (maybe a price drop to $150 could though).
Good deals. I would prefer the infamous and batman bundle over the ratchet and lbp but @ 299, its still the same and u get extra :P

End of 2009 Predictions (made Jan 1, 2009): My predictions were pretty accurate, the 360 was over and the Wii was just under.
Wii: 65 mil (yea I'm crazy) 360: 35 mil (its getting there) PS3: 30 mil (the slim better do well)
End of 2010 Predictions (made Jan 7, 2010):
Wii: 81 mil 360: 47 mil PS3: 45 mil

Looks like it's slim time finally! I just got my 10% off Reward Zone coupon in the mail from Best Buy and they are giving 18 months no interest on any purchase over $249 (protip: a very wise man said "If someone is willing to let you use their money and not charge you interest, you do that 10 times out of 10, and invest your money now and make money on thiers)! Now to convince the wifey that I need another PS3, hmm . . .

we got 36 months on our purchase. :D Best Buy has had some ridiculously good sales as of late on TVs, Stereos, and more.
The Halo francise is the most overrated bland game to ever hit the console market. It provides a bad name to all FPS that even showed effort at creating an original entertaining plot.
I probably have more ps3 games than you :/

Unless it was a gift FOR your wife lol jk...my gf would love a slim PS3. If a deal like this ever reaches to Canada for our 'Boxing Day' sale i'd get her one.
