Forums - Sony - so, I need a fighting game. Who's the winner? Street Fighter 4?

If you like a nice 2D style fighter then Blazblue. If you like the SF control gameplay then get SF4 (can be found brand new for around +/- $29.99 now), but if you're in no hurry then you should wait for Super SF4 this early spring 2010.

I have Blazblue & SF4, but im a SF guy for so long so it was harder getting use to learning different moves when you remember the basic hadoken moves etc. so ive been sticking with SF4 as my fighting game i always play.

Tekken 6 is not a quality product. Dated graphics, terrible online, and a rubbish 3d final fight mode that you will have to play if you want to get endings for the characters. Core Tekken fighting is still awesome of course, but this package is not great. I would say only consider it if you plan to have friends over to play against.

For me SF4 is the best fighter this gen, but you may want to wait for SSF4. If you need a fighter now, I am sure you can find SF4 for cheap though.

Complete bundle of misinformation here. Game looks a lot better than SF, which should have stuck with classic 2d sprites.

The Halo francise is the most overrated bland game to ever hit the console market. It provides a bad name to all FPS that even showed effort at creating an original entertaining plot.

I probably have more ps3 games than you :/

Soul Calibur 4 is the best you can get!!

Soul Caliber stopped being good after 2. It's a complete mess anymore.

Soul Calibur 2 was the worst one. IV is the best one since the original on Dreamcast. If you disagree, you are just wrong.
