I don't see why it cannot happen. It'll be close either way. I don't expect sale to be below 8 million.

People need to pick one already.

I thought that most 360 owners were ps2 owners already. In which case 360 port wont have a reason to almost double the sales then it has in fans since its selling to people who played FF10 and 12.

Hmm I wonder what kind of perspective they have at that, because in long run like 3-4 years it's possible. It'll really depend on how long this generation lasts

5 Million on the PS3 is possible.  But 3 Million on the 360 is really up in the air.  Since its all going to be based on international sales to make up those 360 sales.  And even then, many people will still probably want to buy the PS3 version, since they've already announced it will have additional content the 360 version won't.  (The 360 version is essentially the game with content missing).

And while we're at it, it seems some people forget that FFXIII is only being released on the 360 outside of Japan.

Where ? I thought that the PS3 version is being cutted down to be equal with X360 release ?
