You know what, I have to add Gears 2 to my list as well.

Failed to live up to my expectations by so much I forgot to list it!

Resident Evil 5 was a huge let down. I can't believe they messed up so bad...
SSBB was a let down for me as well.

Someone really lost track of what FEAR 1 was about when making part 2. Like the game feels so broken in to pieces...there isn't a solid part where you can get your gun freak on and just have a long intense gunfight. This is why FEAR 1 was amazing.

Big room + smart AI that flanks you frm all sides = FUN!

Spider-man 3. I was expecting something incredible after the amazing Spider-man 2. After a couple hours of play, I returned it to the store with a lesson learned about doing my research before I buy.

I'll add Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. It's a decent enough game, but I'd call it the worst Fire Emblem game released in NA, so it was a bit of a disappointment.

I loved RE5 coop lol (im different i guess). Im tired of a game either its single player, or coop/multiplayer has to be online. What is so wrong with split screen?

...Which brings me to OT: Resistance 2. Love the story and the setting, but bummed out due to no coop split screen. I miss Nathan Hale's partner which was an African-american in a modern army uniform that so didnt blend in with the rest of the game lol

- Super Paper Mario (not Paper Mario, and not good enough as a new series)
- Metroid Prime 3 (Too FPS-like, strayed too far from Metroid Prime and Super Metroid's atmosphere, focus on exploration. Too much dialogue, poor voice acting and too many characters)
- Kirby Squeak Squad (Short, easy and boring. Compared to Power Paintbrush/Canvas Curse it was a return to mediocrity for the series)

Socom Enjoyed the ones on PS2 but the PS3 is so garbage.

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World - Emil was the worst main character ever

Other than that I've loved every sequel I've played as they have all been good.

RE5 surely isn't bad because it has coop and split screen. Its what they decided to take out in order to acomodate for coop.

The game can't be played alone...as computer controls the other character. Because of this it is not scary. "revive me"...does not work for survival horror games. The game  basically lost what made it AAA and it is comparable to the likes of Army of 2 and Gears...just not as good as they offer smoother controls, better gunplay.

don't get me wrong, RE5 is still a good game...and a sweet weekend rental as it is pretty short. But RE games tend to be best in class type of games, and RE5 isn't anywhere near the top of what its trying to be.

All were disappointing, but only mercinaries 2 made me mad and feel ripped off.
