^^It cleans your 360 of garbage, just make sure you save onto an HHD or memory card stuff you want.

Be warned though, every time someone restores a 360, someone else out thier will RROD. It sucks the soul from another 360 and kills it. u___u

You can also try to clear the disk cache, you'll have to google how to do it because I forget.

That won't wipe everything on your hard drive, just stuff you won't actually notice.

^^HUSHHH!!! No longer speak of this technique. I may have said too much already. If PS3 loyalist find out about this, they will use it to their advantage. When the 360 first launched, a few individuals walking on the dark side, found out about this and caused many 360s to RROD. luckily M$ sent out some ninjas to dispose of them. Now that I have spilled this secret, I fear my life is in danger. I have noticed something moving in the shadows. Luckily I know that ninjas will not strike an unclothed individual. For your own safety, I suggest you remove your clothing. Speak nothing about this anymore....

I know what your problem is, my friend had the exact same problem. His Xbox's parental controls were on and set to like kid or something. Just go to Family settings or system settings and change your account. I don't know exactly where but it's in one of those two.
