I found this interesting over on the IW forum, they say people are getting banned for it. I'll just post this for anyone out there that actually bought the game on the PC that also reads this, I don't knw how many of you are out there but here it is:

This program will allow you to bring back the globally loved
developer console in the game! Plus, it will unlock important cvars like
cg_fov to change the field-of-view at the same time!
