I am really liking the series so far.  I was really disappointed when they didn't make a sixth season of Atlantis.  This show is very different from Atlantis, but it is wonderful to see the show continue in some form.

On a side note, they are planning two more direct to DVD movies, one to follow on from SGI that will supposedely be Jack-centric, and one to act as a sort of sixth season for Atlantis.

I'll take that as a no.

I am. I watch it on YT. It is ok but makes me think of better times when all you need is O'Neill, Teal'c, Daniel, and Carter for a great show. Good times...

If you're going to make a thread talking specifically only to people already interested and knowledgeable about Stargate, it's better you just go to an official forum. This is more of an environment to let us know if the show is a good one to start watching. You know, like introduce us to it.

Personally no. I can't stand most of the programming on SciFi. The only show to catch my interest was Battlestar Galactica, and even that became pretty hard to watch in the final season.

Nope since it isn't on free tv. Once its out on dvd I'll buy it however since I'm a stargate fanatic!

of course, I watched both SG-1 and Atlantis, so far, Universe is okay, I think they need more actual Stargate stuff in it though, but I guess it is only 6/7 episodes in, thankfully in the UK, it's on iTunes only 4/5 days after it airs in the US
