Forums - Sony - Best Buy Black Friday!

So who is going to wait for Best Buy's massive Black Friday event?

I for one am glad that I wait to buy some of these new games. Brutal Legend, Dragon Age: Origins, etc. All priced well below the new release price.

Rumor: Best Buy's 2009 Black Friday deals

According to Gear Live, Best Buy's Black Friday 2009 ad circular has been leaked, and all the deals have been revealed. Gamers have quite a bit to look forward to, specifically some decent hardware bundles and heavily discounted games. The console deals include a PS3 with Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time and LittleBigPlanet Game of the Year Edition for $299, as well as a 120GB Xbox 360 Elite bundle with four (thus far unidentified) games for $299. Also up for grabs will be Brain Age or Mario DSi bundles for $169.99 with a free $20 gift card.

Several recent Xbox 360 and PS3 releases will be on sale for $34.99, including Brütal Legend, Left 4 Dead 2, Dragon Age. Many older titles will be $20 or less. Meanwhile, several Wii titles will be reduced to $14.99, while certain DS titles will drop to $9.99 or less. Hit the source link for the full (and still rumored) set of deals. We've contacted Best Buy to verify the ad.

Update: Best Buy has responded to Joystiq about the ad, saying, "As a matter of company policy, Best Buy does not comment on rumor and speculation and so we are unable to confirm if our Black Friday insert has leaked."

Wow!
Please be true!

Well so far the store circular ads have been true.

There were a few that were proven wrong (at the time), but turned out to become true. Like all the ones about the PS3 price drop.

Nothing insanely spectacular like the Walmart-move though

What do you mean?

They are bundling 2 PS3 exclusive games with the PS3 Slim (120 gig version) for $299.

I will give them credit on the 360 bundle though. That is if it's full of recently released exclusive games like the PS3 one.

That's 6 games. The talks about 4 unspecified games.

But even if 4 of thos games were added.....yeah that would be a terrible bundle, but then again 4 games for achievements.

yeah but whose gonna wann play like 2 year old games that no one is even playing with all these great games coming out this month....

i think xbox went with quantity over quality on that so people would be like ohhhh 4 games! ps3's are OK because little big planet is still active and i wonder which ratchet it is.

i cant wait to get left 4 dead 2 tho thats a great deal for a game 35 bucks 1 week after release.

It's ACIT in the image.

Well this is Best Buy, not Microsoft that decides the bundles.

There are official bundles, but the bundles talked about here are from Best Buy. (potentially)
