No, unfortunately I am in N.A where the game is not out yet.

You will notice that a lot of them are complaining about the same thing. The pet does not recognize a shitload of the commands that it is supposed to. Apparantly they are trying to get more out of the PSEye than it is actually capable of doing. When you are playing, you need perfect lighting in the room. I even read a review where the guy said don't even bother trying to play at night. In another review, I read that you might need to start emptying out furniture from in front of your camera for it to actually work properly.

Unfortunately, Eyepet seems like too much of a headache. When I first heard about this game, I was really considering buying it. But after reading a few reviews, it doesn't seem like its worth the investment (because I'd have to buy the PSEye as well).

72/100 is not a flop.

And it's not that bad of a score.

I guess so. I was obviousley expecting way too much of this game. Also, from what I've read in those reviews, 72/100 is extremely high.

I'm selling Oblivion and Skate 2 to get Eyepet. Not for me but for my kids, though I'm partly getting it for the PSEye for future gaming purposes (there seem to be a fre PSEye games on the PSN that might be interesting. Including possibly 1 half of the motion control hardware requirements, if there are any motion control games I fancy playing once it comes out.

Increasing sales every week so far.. and no NA or JP release yet. I expect even more with the coming weeks. I don't get why people are claiming this is a flop, since it seems like a pretty solid hit to me, and more importantly, it's moving a lot of Playstation Eye cameras.. which will become important when the Sony motion control releases.
