Well, it's totally justifiable now if IW and actiblizz never want to publish a PC game again, and I hope they don't so these pirates can't get their hands on any more free games. And it would be revenge for their bitching earlier about dedicated servers and such. The funny thing is I bet alot of people who were complaining were pirates themselves. The reason it's more ok on the xbox is because there are anti-piracy measures in place... Like if you are caught online with a modded xbox they will ban it from live and lock you out from your harddrive, basically bricking it.

I don't think there is anything like that for pc.

I'd say maybe 400k of those PC downloads are by people pissed at IW

It doesn't really matter for pirated games... if people could afford to buy the game they would. But in my country... Buying Fifa 10 for the PS3 is the equivalent of half the monthly pay of some people if not more....



I am a Gamer... I play games and not consoles. I have a PC and Console on which I game... I like games. End of Story!

No big deal. Pirated downloads != lost sales. In other words, majority of pirated downloads won't translate into sales if (let's suppose impossible) you'll make a game unhackable, definitely won't especially in the case of such massive game like MW2. A fairly low amount will though, but, as I've said already, no big deal.
