That's not the amount of all time.... that's just for the year of 2008. CoD4 was released in 2007 and with this many pirated copies of MW2 on PC in just the first week... I imagine the total number of CoD4 pirated copies far exceeds 1.5 million.

Seems like more and more people feel that they should get things for free. Especially if they feel the item doesn't live up to their arbitrary expectations.

Haha actually no. I thought about it prior to this thread.. went to my invite site to look it up. But really didn't feel like it once i got around to it. But I saw the download numbers of 500k on the site and thought i'd do som research on how many times it had been downloaded throughout the interwebs. And Voila. Thread posted :)

The biggest challenge console makers are going to have next gen is make console where games are harder to pirate ( like PS3). That will be the one selling point to convince development studios to become early adopters...
