from a color stand point, I probably won't disagree with that since I'm not a big fan of brown or gray stuff myself, but KZ2 does have impressive animations which is part of it's appealing visuals as well, I just don't like that game lol, or any FPS on consoles at this point tbh. My point is that it seems as if they made some sacrifices with Alan Wake, or their 3D modelers are not that good, could be one or the other, but I do like the way the lights are being handled, visual king on consoles thus far though? naaaaaaa~

Yep...And Selnor should really consider visiting an ophtalmologist...

MW2 graphics are far, far away from being the best (except, maybe, in the happy world of the Care Bears)

The graphic king on consoles, for the moment, is Uncharted 2, period.

Now, my opinion about this Alan Wake game is that it will not have the best graphics (What is showed in those videos is really good but nothing really mind blowing) And I'm quite ready to bet it will not be 720p. IMHO although, the general atmosphere of this game will be excellent, probably better than uncharted 2. As for the gameplay, we will have to wait to see.

Also, didn't Remedy explained that AW would not be a true complete game but would be released in the form of a "basic kit" completed with DLC chapters ? (not completely sure about this one)

I haven't heard them say anything about DLC. The only thing they've really said is that in their minds, Alan Wake is only "season one."

Uncharted 2. Saw it last week. Really nice. Is it beatable? Hell yes. I think 4 or 5 games coming next year look better. But thats my opinion. In terms of graphics this gen so far I have the following list:

Uncharted 2

Modern Warfare 2

Killzone 2

Forza 3

In that order.

Now, Alan wake looks terrific, but its going against some tough competition.

GT5, Halo Reach, The Last Guardian, GOW3, Spliter Cell, FFXIII, Mass effect 2, Left4Dead 3, Fable 3, Heavy Rain.

10 GAMES.

2010 might be the greatest year of gaming.
