But whatever to each his own, if you two like his art-style fine, but you won't let me see the clarity in characters who has a spooky almost goth look going on that you'd see in some sort of da Vinci artwork.
A good example of a truly good art-style is the guy in my avatar or xxains Sig or the seraphim girl in my sig... atleast they look like they belong in a game not a history Museum or something. it just doesn't fit games thats all im saying. |
And I'm saying you couldn't be mroe wrong. Many - or even any - art styles can be accomodated by games, and Amano's art in particular has been accomodated in Final Fantasy, in one form or another, for over two decades. He's a staple of the series whether you like it or not, and very visual aspect of the series owes at least something to him.
Well, except for the Ivalice team, but they're really apart from Square, now aren't they?
A game based on Amano's art in this day and age has the potential to be breathtaking, almost heartbreaking. I think a Vampire Hunter D game could be very, very workable, and with the right style would be able to change the way we consider visuals in games.
@FinalEvangelion and Xxain:
I think that would be lovely, and if kept on a reasonable budget it would not need to be a big seller.
Of course, they could just put him in charge of the visual design of FFXV, and it would solve all the problems we have at once, wouldn't it?
