I could do the same with the One Winged Angel, but i wasn't talking about "Final Forms" i was talking about regular work more exact the pic twes posted...

i mean hes almost a colored dot. if it wasn't for the epic very Final Fantasy VII like storyline i would have stop'd playing it because of the art-style AND the graphics, so all the pretty boys came into final fantasy after VII huh? everyone in VI (there art-work) looked fugly imo.

....What?

Listen, I understand that you like LEGOs better than sprites

But are you talking shit about Amano?

What? no... i mean... you know those avatar like pictures when you use the menu mode?

That. god that picture was hard to find, i type in FFVI menu and a bunch of FFVII menu pics come up, no wonder VI fans (some not all.) loath VII...

Btw besides terra my fave character in VI was setzer. just putting that out there to.

Orkginal Sephiroth by Amano :

much better

I tend to agree. One does not talk smack about Amano.

He is kind of a modern master.

Also:

Kefka's visual design is just cooler than Sephiroth's anyway. I said it. "The Man in the Long Black Coat" was a Bob Dylan song, ya jerks!

wow....that is jaw dropping...u said ur S&P fan rite hold...

wtf... those pics are nice but if they were they actual art-style of the FF-Series meaning in-game instead of just art-work i would hate final fantasy, all of them, sephiroth looks fugly in that pic.

and that other looks strange.

The original Kefka design is perfectly in keeping with his battle sprite - an alternative design was used for his field sprite, though it's not really clear why.

And, uh....

Amano's art was the visual basis for seven different games. I-VI were primarily visually designed by him, and IX was an homage to his style.

well i wouldn't know, i honestly could careless about the older final fantasies, yes VI was good i'll admit that, but i really didn't know that this "amano" guy did the art-work for I to VI, i wanted to play II, IV and V but never got around to it since i cant find a current gen console there on for.

Yasushi Sazuki is the artist behind Sin and punishment and Radiant Silvergun and currently my favorite artist:

You mean... scary looking?

I mean... in game Sepiroth... you walk into the same room with Sephiroth... he looks like one of those kids who got picked on in school a bit too much so he collects swords and always wears a trenchcoat.

Which is a bit of the underrated aspect of Kefka's creepiness.  If you were in the same room as that guy you don't know what's going to happen.  He looks like the kind of guy that might suddenly just wig out and stab you in the eye with a pencil.

Not only is Kefka evil... he's unpredictable.

I like Mr. Suzuki's art, it is pretty great!

@Seraphic

Final Fantasy IV is on the DS and it's fantastic. It may be too hard for some, though.

Now that one is ALOT nicer, nice find. but that kefka and sephiroth pic... ewww...

EDIT:  Now THIS!!!... and...

This is something else!!!
