to make matters worse, Gamespot also owns and operates gamerankings.com

I lost 80% on level 35 one day for replying a answer to a poll question someone asked and staying totally on-topic. I went all the way to the GS staff and they told me that even they believed i was treated unfairly but even still, moderations cannot be changed. What???????????

I stay only on the GS board and unions, for some reason the people who post on game FAQ boards are mostly knobs who just insult everyone.

GS sucks, sorry if its offensive they are evil.

 They say things like that because if you mention the 360 in the ps3 forums you get moderated.  You should've seen things right after the ps3's launch.  360 fanboys were trolling that board like mad.

 Funny story:  I actually GAINED points for one of my moderations.

I can't stand Gamespot forums. I remember awhile back when ioi said spread the word on VGChartz. So I went to Gamespot.com and somebody brought up the subject about 360 sales. So I posted a comment stated "Well VGChartz says that the 360 sold this amount....."and a few minutes later, I was banned from posting in the forums. I'm like WTF!!!!

Well who cares, I never posted in that forum anyway. VGChartz was my first posting forum site. And I'm going to keep it that way.

I occasionally read a few topics in the "System Wars" section of GS/GF just for laughs - the general stupidity and blind fanboyism of that site's userbase is astounding. I think my parrot could beat the majority of them in an intelligence test...
