Does anyone know why there's this diffirence in the boxart of this game and others also? Is it a matter of territory? I'd say it's at least weird new games on PS3 not to have the same logo...
the one on the right is the new look for all new games for PS3. the one on the left doesnt exist.
the left is the old layout, the one of the right will be the the new one from "now on."

Sony decided to change the boxarts to fit with the slim design, and also because having the emblem on the side made PS3 games look fat. I guess.

I saw vids on youtube unboxing modern warfare 2 with the old logo. So what's the case?

Mine too 
Because Uncharted 2 has the old template in Europe. Mine has it. The reason is that the games in Europe had their boxarts done months in advance due to all the languages and didn't have time to change the design whereas in America its one language.
Dunno why MW2 wasn't updated though.
