Single-player is lackluster comapred to modern games, it's worse than the first MW.

Multi-player is just shitty, period, it's jsut crap and nearly unplayable.

I didn't make any judgment on the game itself simply because I haven't played it yet but people seems to love it overall.

It's possible that you don't like the game but that doesn't mean the game is bad. You have to look at the majority and it seems you're a minority.

 

The SP in MW was awesome and even though the SP in MW2 is not as good, I am sure it's still good enough.

Console players will like a pile of crap if it had a gun and could move and would claim it wasa the best thing ever to happen to video games.

I need actual reasons why the game DOESN'T suck. So far you have none.

Also good enough doesn't cut it, it has to be better or this game might as well not have released, what good is i to me if I had a better game years ago?

same could be said about pc gamers then. Cause alot of pc gamers moved to consoles so pc gamers like a pile of crap.

I know its sad the f***ing cod is selling so good though im a console gamer i am sad that games with no ionvation or even improvement over the previous title sells so good. btw 17% of cod is on pc though the pc version is worse than the console version :P.

Those people knew what they were giving up that's for sure, also MW2 is the same across all platforms, it's not any  worse on the PC.

Still doesn't change the fact that it's a shitty game, at least for the PC, I guess conole people are just so used to crap they think MW2 is actually good.

Of course console gamers are used to crap, why do you think System Shock 3 is one of the highest rated console games of all time? 

It also happens to sit at #5 on metacritic PC.

I bought the fucking game anyway for PC and im fucking pissed. I want to take it back and get another however in the state of california it's illegal to take a PC game back that is opened.

I'm pretty fucking pissed it deserves that damn low score.

Seriously PC gamers need to grow up and stop complaining. P2P doesnt affect me as a console owner, and im pretty sure it will be the same on pc. ID software also have announced RAGE won't have dedicated servers, so it looks like ppl will have to get over it! it annoys me that everyone is being pathetic about it, the game is hardly a 0 for no dedicated servers!

As someone who is admirers how Big Rigs failed so miserably, I am offended you drag MW2 down to its level.

Awesome, I say.  I especially love that everyone who wants to play a PS3 game has to buy it, whether they are looking to play online or no.

The same is true for most PC games.  Nobody is playing pirated TF2, or CS:S.

This is such a stupid argument.  "It's good enough for me, therefore it has to be good enough for everyone else."  Well, I'm happy with my NES, so I don't think anyone should be playing games more advanced than the NES can deliver.

I have seen arguing about MW2's graphics being 10 or not being 10 (to say high 8s) to the game justifiably being considered on par with Big Rigs in this thread (and the post I put up).  In all this, all I see is a lot of fanboy anger that is worth less than a patch on Big Rigs to make it tolerable.

Fine.  But for the sake of remotely looking intelligent, don't rate a game worse than a game that is near universally agreed to be one of the worst games EVER, that being Big Rigs.  And that is what happened with MW2.
