Ok i bought it on PC ( no i'm not happy about the shit happening happening with this version but that's not the issue right now)  I bought a disk based version in the game and as some of you may know it has to go through steam disk based or not.....well after a 28 minute install It opens up on steam and says "updating" The update is 3 fucking hours....

Now I have a friend on steam telling me the game doesn't "release" on PC until the 12th. He bought his through steam and it won't let him play. I don't know if its gonna be any different.

Does anyone know if im gonna have to wait until the 12th after this fucking 3 hour update to actually play it even though i have the damn disk directly in my hands...

From what I know, you can play the single player at any moment, while you will have to wait until the 12th for the multiplayer.

The Steam version you have to wait until the 12th, while if you bought the actual disk in stores you're fine. They did this for an incentive to get the physical copy cause digital download isn't counted in some statistics.

I picked it up on PC because I have nVidia 3D vision. It allows me to play all my games in 3D, with better graphics, and a mouse and keyboard.

Now for a second question >;( why can't i remove the Crosshairs!!!!

Because they didn't balance it for no crosshairs, clearly.

Dont know how much they allow you to play around with the console settings, but try to write "ui_drawCrosshair 0 (instead of 1). Or is it "cg_drawCrosshair 0" Can't remember. But with recent consolification of the PC version, they might've dumbed it down.

You shouldn't have bought it. Return it.

It works for every single game as long as it's not openGL and it does it wonderfully. with FPS aiming is off with the crosshairs however they have driver supported crosshairs so usually i just take them off and use the ones nvidia gives me however......with Modern Warfare 2.....I can't remove the original ones >;(
