Not true, PS3 is missing the bloom effect.  Also slower loads, and slower FPS.  But if you READ the outcome all is explained.

Boy, these shots don't look ANYTHING like the LoT shots!  Hmmmm.....

In fact, the PS3 version seems to look better in a good deal of them.

I just picked it up at the rental store today.

If there was supposed to be any difference with the washed out gray look, it was lost after tweaking brightness setting screen (which is one of the first screens that comes up before you even get to the main menu for the first time).
