I haven't ever had a problem with a Source game in Win7.
@jefforange89
It's not only the demo like I said Team Fortress 2 has the same problem only not as bad or as frequent as the L4D2 demo
@ssj12
How do I run something in XP mode ?
Compatibility mode for older versions of Windows is in the application's properties - go to Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps and find the executable for the games in question, right click -> properties, and it's somewhere in there.
First of all thx for suggesting the XP mode, while it didn't work 100% and the game still freezes more than the usual PC game it's FAR better than before. I played a couple of games and had lot's of fun so thanks ssj12 & jefforange89 and all those who helped.
I still don't know If I will pre order, I will play the demo in the next couple of days and see what's the Hit/Miss ratio when it comes to freezing and make a decision based on that.
Oh and VGChartz>Steam forums ;)
You can get the game cheaper if you preorder (and even cheaper if you go for the 4-pack), just something to keep in mind.
