They are all looking good to be honest. I think 360 has the biggest titles in terms of high end sequels and probably next years best new IP. Also It looks take take the grpahics crown with the new Alan Wake footage shown. Also with Metro 2033 now not on PS3, if that turns out good 360 will have an exceptional Year. Remeber 2010 is the year of NATAL as well. SCC Conviction, Alan Wake, Halo Reach, Mass Effect 2, Fable 3, Metro 2033. I could add others but these are the ones certain to be top quality games.

If you haven't been lucky enough to view the new footage showing the lighthouse and Tornado, all seemlessly following on from the E3 demo. You need to. It's just so good. There is several things that Alan Wake is doing which leaves it in a field of it's own. What I mean is: the following are all alot better than any other game Ive seen. Of course It's My opinion.

1. Lighting.

2. Volumetric fog.

3. Shadows.

4. Charchter cothing

5. weather affects. ( man look at the nado ).

 

I would bet you right now that game won't even be on top 10 best looking games next year.

100% Agreement. Without even having to compare to PS3 2010 games, Splinter Cell Conviction, Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2 and a few more have better graphics than Alan Wake. Hell Halo Reach looks better than Alan Wake and that's comparing off screen crap quality (Reach really did suprise me).

waron@ I agree with ya. I have so many games I want next year that it's just gonna be insane!!!

ANd why can't people just enjoy the games that are gonna come out next year and not worry whether it's a console exclusive or not. I mean if games such as FF XIV, The Agency, Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell Conviction aren't 'console exclusives', is that going to affect the way you play the game? Let us all enjoy the fact that 2010 will be an AMAZING year for gaming and eventually enjoy the games we're gonna play!!

I will take that bet no probs. Control over my sig if you win for 12 months. If I win I control your sig for 12 months. Not only do I bet it will be in top 10 of next years graphics. Which is your bet. I further bet that Alan Wake will be crowned by many sites like IGN etc as best Consol Graphics when it's reviewed. For that bet you can control my avatar for 12 months if I lose. If I win I control yours. After the new footage. Without a doubt I'm very confident.

No I'm fine thanks. I don't go betting with other online people over such things. I'm just not the type of guy to make or accept bets. Even if it's over something for example like someone claiming that the PS3 version of MW2 will outsell the 360 version overall. Even though I'm 100% confident that it won't happen, I won't go asking that person to take a bet with me that it won't happen and put each other's avatar or sig at stake. And don't think that just because I'm declining your bet offer that I'm not confident with my opinion. I stand firm with my opinions.

Yeah I know that quite a number of people like to bet here but not me. I'm here to just share my opinions and read what the others have to say.

No probs. PSRock was the one calling me to bet. I think I have only bet once on this site ages ago. But after the new footage I have never seen anything that looks like a film the entire 12 minute clip. It's like watching scary series or film in high quailty CGi whether it's gameplay or cutscene. I was quite blown away visually. More games need lighting like it, and the fog effects.

Yeah, Alan Wake is going to be just terrible, those graphics suck, even those screens from the alpha stages of Halo: Reach that we aren't even sure are real and are not even good quality at all are better!

there's another exclusive 360 title that will be released next year - Rainy Woods. Marvelous will finally release it(unfortunately) in march. does everything have to be released in march? it's like whole Q4 squeezed to one month
