They still show Courage and Ed, Edd, and Eddy? lol I loved those shows.

Yeah they still show it, but I don't know when it's on though. I usually catch Courage on Saturday afternoon.

Appearantly, there's going to be an Ed, Edd n Eddy marathon tomorrow and Sunday for the premiere of the Ed, Edd n Eddy movie.

Around the Network

Does anybody remember Toonami on CN from 1997-2001? Those were some good times... A shame CN had to fuck themselves by taking it away.

Question is mostly aimed at those who grew up in the 80s and 90s.

I used to watch great shows like Hey Arnold, Rocko's Modern Life, Ren and Stimpy, Pete and Pete, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Salute Your Shorts. I even watched the old kids shows like Eureka's Castle and Gullah Gullah Island.

Now I have a 1 1/2 year old niece and a baby girl so naturally I decided to check up on good ol' Nick.

My god! What the hell happened to that network? Where did all the good shows go?

This Yo Gabba Gabba thing seems to have the potential to freak children out more than entertain them, but hey, what do I know.

I'm pretty sure its cheaper to do a crappy sticom than cartoons and they appear to get higher ratings.

More so than a kids channel it seems like its intended for horny pre-teens.

I agree with CN becoming crap... although I still watch Flapjack from time to time, any of youse seen that?

Oh yeah I like Flapjack, and I didn't know they still showed Ed, Edd n Eddy or Courage. I loved those shows.

I like what they have on the channel. I watch it with my three year old all the time. Between Spongebob, Fairly Odd Parents, iCarly, Penguins of Madagascar, and Back at the Barnyard (both of which are better than the films they're based on) there's plenty of entertaining programming. It's nothing I would watch on my own, but then again I wouldn't watch Rugrats anymore either.

The only shows I legit can't stand that she likes are Diego, Dora and the Fresh Beats Band. However, all pre-school programming is pretty awful, so it's not like there's something more entertaining on the next channel.

Ugh. I used to watch Nick @ Nite to sleep back in high school and every morning I would wake up to her voice and immediately wake up and want to throw something at the tv. >_<

If you're referring to Dora, I agree. The show is so infuriating that it causes me to force me head into my rear end, curl into a ball like Samus and roll around in circles throughout the living room until commercial break. It's not a pretty sight.

It died with my happy childhood memories.

"I used to watch great shows like Hey Arnold, Rocko's Modern Life, Ren and Stimpy, Pete and Pete, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Salute Your Shorts. I even watched the old kids shows like Eureka's Castle and Gullah Gullah Island." + Aah Real Monsters! and CatDog.

Those were my favorites

I just torrent the shows I like, I never watch TV anymore, didn't even bother buying one for my apartment

Nick went bad after Avatar ended, CN went bad after Kids Next Door ended

i used to have to babysit my ex's niece like 3 or 4 days a week until last winter, and she loved Dora. ¬_¬; yuck.

back in my day, though, it was all about the Cartoon Cartoons on CN, and just about everything on Nick was amazing. (back when Doug was still Doug, and not Disney's Doug).

i miss those days
