it looks like shooter with cover system ala kz2
ill take it you never played the first one. You get upgrades with weapon damage, armor stats and stuff like that. It's kinda like fallout with more action.

Looks like theyve improved it greatly
The action looks more fluid then the first one. Graphic performance looks better too. Also the Soundtrack sounds as good as the first.

If by AA you mean anti-aliasing, it's probably because it's an Unreal Engine 3 game.
The gameplay was almost perfect last game the only things they need to fix is boring planets to explore, glitches and ELEVATORS!!!
