I managed to secure some race wins, in fact I won at a weaker course of mine, Wario's Gold Mine. 

Hello to anybody who remembers me

Who does the hosting nowadays? dan/cougarman/rainbowyoshi? I have the first two on one or other of my profiles, don't think I have rainbowyoshi though.

This JWS guy seems to be the one to beat, being out of the loop for so many months though I imagine I will be very middle of the road player   (I think in the last 18 months i've played about 5-10 hours worth of MKWii, most of that about 1 year ago)

i'm still trying to get my 2nd profile down to zero, it's way harder than getting to 9999. I got down to 70 at one point but a couple of disconnects at the wrong time (not by me, by others) meant I didn't come last in a race and i'm back to 400.

Down to about 1500/2000 it was yes, it was interesting watching some of the other players too, some who are quite seriously trying to do well but consistantly come (2nd to with me there) last, presumably small children or grandparents who haven't had much experience.

Going below 1000 though it's a bit monotonous as you meet other people deliberatly doing bad, or some who perhaps just have horrible connections, so you are pretty much forced to disconnect yourself nearly every race because not coming last means you gain points.

Tuan (brawl4life) has recently been dominating in the races, in fact in the first Grand Prix (the most recent league night) secured 40 points after three races and I finished second with 32 after three races. Tuan lost his connection in the last race. I would admit that nearly all of the races do not have a destined victor, it is immensely competitive.
