I have owned 2 televisions in the past 12 years and they were both Sony. I have had a few other items that were made by Sony and they were as reliable. Does this mean everyone has the same experience? No. Does it mean to me they have shown themselves to be a reliable, dependable company? Yes. In today's world the number of companies that actually care about anything short of money/profit is pretty small. I don't kid myself and pretend Sony cares about me personally, but they do give me reliable products and have earned my "loyalty". Sorry but your article does appear to be "troll-ish" as many have said, but that is my personal story of Sony love. |

At least Sony's PSN is free while XBL you have to pay despite Sony getting less revenue and huge loss in video games division. They even seliing PS3 at loss while X360 is pure profit.

Just to clarify, that download does not allow you to play PS2 games on your PS3. If you have a PS3 with PS2-compatibility, the download allows you to use the "install to harddrive" option of some PS2 games like the SOCOM series. Final Fantasy XI required harddrive installation so presumably it works for that, too.
